College-Age Young Adults

Youth Ministry

This is going to be an exciting year!

Our Catholic faith is at the cornerstone of our lives! It’s not just something that we do for an hour on Sundays or when we need something.  Faith is something we live and breathe each moment of every day.  It’s a part of our story.   As a Youth Minister, it is my ministry to walk with our teens on their faith journeys.  It is also to be another support and resource to you, as catechists and parents.  As we grow in our faith this year together, I hope we can open our hearts and trust in the Lord together creating our story with the theme for the year: What’s Your Story? and bible verse, Psalms 37:3-4, “Trust in the Lord and do good that you may dwell in the land and live secure. Find your delight in the Lord who will give you your heart’s desire.”

Check out calendar and bulletin for Youth Night Topics.  ALL college students local and away are invited to attend.

Opportunities

Throughout the year, many opportunities will be available for our young people in a way that fuels their passion for God, empowers them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, draws them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Church as well as fosters the total personal spiritual growth of each young person.

Care Packages for College

Do you know a college student away from home?  Let them know you are thinking about them by letting Immaculate Conception’s Youth Group send them a Care Package.  We mail care packages with fun things to remind them of home and small gifts to encourage them spiritually.  If you would like a care package sent, contact the youth ministry office at youthministry@iccparish.org.  We do ask for a $25 donation.
