“The shepherds went in haste to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about the child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.”
Message from angels to Mary at Nazareth, to Joseph in a dream, and announcements in the sky. How special that the shepherds then looked for and found Jesus. I wonder who Luke was referring to when he said ‘all who heard it were amazed.’ As you read these words are you looking for Jesus, are you still touched by the nativity event? Are you, like Mary, reflecting and pondering upon this in your heart? A blessed new year.
