Parish Pastoral Council Minutes
The September Parish Pastoral Council meeting began with an Opening Prayer. The August meeting minutes were approved. Next, the council received an update on our parish income and expenses; both are in line with our budget for the year. The council then discerned goals and action steps to complete such goals for the upcoming year. Different signage options were then discussed in regard to an improved sign being displayed at ICC, so the church is more easily identifiable. The council also discussed opportunities for social events in the future in an attempt to create a more welcoming church community. In addition, the parish council is arranging a small social to occur on the second week each month after every Mass at IC church vestibule. We will serve apple cider & gingersnaps and warmly welcome all to attend! The meeting ended with closing prayer, and the next meeting is scheduled for October 19th.
