Parish Council

The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body to the pastor. It is the coordinating and underlying structure of the parish community. Its function is to develop a sense of community within itself as a sign and witness of unity for the larger parish community. It promotes communication and understanding among parish organizations and between the parish, the diocese, and the universal chuch. The Council's mission, working closely with the pastor, is to discover and define the parish, formulate policy and goals based upon identified needs, and monitor and evaluate programs to meet stated needs.
